How to Perform

  1. Load a light barbell — typically 30–40 percent of the clean.
  2. Perform the prescribed reps of each lift in order without setting the bar down.
  3. Move directly from one lift to the next.
  4. Rest fully, then repeat the complex.

Coaching Cues

  • "Reset the brace at every transition."
  • "Technique first — stop the set before form breaks."
  • "Breathe at the top of each rep."

Common Mistakes

  • Loading too heavily so technique degrades under fatigue.
  • Rushing transitions and losing bar position.

Progressions & Regressions

Progressions
Add reps per station, add rounds, or increase load slightly.
Regressions
Reduce to two or three lifts, or use dumbbells.

When to Use It

When to use
Off-season conditioning, in-season time-efficient work capacity.
When not to use
When technique on any component lift is not yet reliable, or with acute low-back pain.
Programming
3–5 rounds of 5 reps per lift, 2–3 minutes rest.
