How to Perform

  1. Open with a front or cut kick to occupy the opponent’s guard and their attention.
  2. Follow with a roundhouse on a different line, keeping the support foot pivoted.
  3. As the roundhouse recovers, continue the rotation into a spinning hook or back kick.
  4. Land balanced facing the opponent and reset distance.

Coaching Cues

  • “Let the rotation of one kick feed the next.”
  • “Do not reset the stance between kicks.”
  • “Land balanced or the sequence is wasted.”

Common Mistakes

  • Setting the foot down flat between kicks, which kills the momentum.
  • Attempting the spin before the previous kick has recovered.
